Marlton Chiefs Football Cheerleading
Football cheerleaders(rec/all play level) cheerleaders are introduced to cheers & chants, jump skills and level appropriate stunts. Football cheerleaders will cheer home football games including play-offs and will be eligible for SJE All-Star Selection.
Registration fee 100.00
Additional cost is 63.00 (approx.) for team sneakers, orange crop top(for under uniform shell) and cheer bow.
New bow for 2012
Football cheer season begins first week of August and runs through second week of December.*ATTENTION we will cheer home football games only.We will still be cheering the same number of games, however, this will give us the opportunity to support our Varsity and JV level football teams.
Participation in fundraising is required by each participant. Candy sale 2011 two boxes will be sold for uniform improvements/color change and poms purchase & competition fee.
Our football cheer teams will be competing this year 2011 in the SJE cheer competition on November 20th! We need volunteers to create a spirit club to plan & support this event ! Please say that you will!
Religious Education: We do not practice on Mondays or Fridays. Please schedule Religious Ed or dance etc on those two days if at all possible.
Cheer Practice
August
We practice 2 days a week in August (Tues, Wed. or Thurs.) Please try not to plan family vacations in August, this is when we prepare for our season learning our routines, cheers/chants, jumps and stunt safety.
**Every cheerleader has a significant position on the squad and any missed practices/vacations prohibit teams performance.
September-December
Two day a week commitment
We will practice 1 day a week and attend HOME games, two practices if teams are away or two home games. Games are usually played on Saturdays.yet some fall during the week. Practice day will depend on coach/team.
Coaches must be notified if you will be missing a practice or game.
We take our sport very seriously, we ask you do the same.
Cheer Attire
Cheerleaders will attend practices in our "Chiefs" practice wear or white or orange tank, black or orange shorts, socks & sneakers(clean) and hair up in bow (neat & pretty!).
Cheerleaders will attend games in full uniform, team vest, skirt, socks, sneakers(clean), poms, hair up in cheer bow (neat & pretty!).
Uniform deposit of 150.00 will be held until uniform return. All equiptment loaned will be returned in clean and repaired if necessary. Please do not cut or alter our uniforms.
No jewelry! Cut nails! BE ON TIME!
