Cheerleaders will be instructed in basic basketball cheer skills-cheers, chants & jumps. Participants will learn a choreographed dance half time routine (a little different than football).
Rules, Regulations and Code of Conduct apply to all MRC cheerleading. Basketball cheer is different from football cheer in that you bleacher cheer or baseline cheer in sitting position…different & fun!
Girls will support Marlton Chiefs Varsity Basketball Travel teams! Girls will cheer at HOME GAMES ONLY!
Cherokee High School & MMS are our home courts.
Practices will be during week days at local elementray school. Games can fall on week days …we will cheer 2 day commitment. (Practice & games no greater than 2 day week commitment)
Practice location: Jaggard Elementary School, Tues. & Thursday between hours 6-9pm.
We stop practices once team knows material then attend homes games at CHS or MMS.
Games fall on either Monday-Wednesday or Tue. & Thursday
Practice times will be at coaches discretion
Girls can use same bow as football cheer if they want to wear a bow. Bows are optional.
*Fundraising is required by each participant to help cover additional uniform & equiptment improvement costs.
