Practice/Attendance Guide
March - June
Fridays evenings beginning on 4/2 at Richard Rice Elementary 6:30-8 we will begin practicing ..building/stunting , jumps and cheer form.(optional but stongly encouraged)
August
Mandaroty cheer camp SJ Storm August 10,11 &12 9am-3pm
Two practices a week (2 day week)
"Chiefs" practice wear required at practice Black shorts & white or red tank, hair up in bow (neat & pretty!), nails cut & clean, sneakers clean.
September-December (3 day week)
Depending on the home game schedule- One practice will be held at CHS/ Evesham TWP School during week, one game and one practice/tumble at Gym..or two practices at CHS/Evesham school and one practice tumble at SJ Storm.
Practice & Tumble
SJ Storm Practice & Tumble Sundays 1-3 pm September -November.
Girls please try to tumble off season.
Coaches will provide a monthly calendar with local practice location (1x a week), one game and the one practice/tumble at Gym!
Team times (2 hrs slots- will be determined by Varsity coaches)
Competitions
Competitions have been scheduled for Sundays beginning in November ending second week of December.
Practice Etiquette
Cell phones to be on vibrate mode at all times during practice
All personal items including water bottles, cell phones, jackets etc. need to
be kept in a gym bag during practice times
All practice times are closed door practices. Parents may drop off up to 10mins prior to scheduled time and are permitted in the gym 15 mins prior to end time. This rule includes siblings, friends etc.This is done to reduce distractions. Thank you for respecting our practice rules.
Cancellations will be supplied to coaches and posted on our website www.marltoncheerleaders.com
Coach must be notified if you will not be attending practice ASAP
Please notify coaches prior to camp dates of any scheduled vacations.
*Every Cheerleader has a significant position on the squad and any missed practices/vacations prohibit stunt groups from practice performing due to safety issues
Varsity Competitions
Attendance to all competitions is mandatory, unless prior vacation approval
There will be strict time indications on competition arrival. These
times must be followed to ensure attendance of all team members for pre-performance practice, tumbling, uniform /sneaker checks, cheer prep time.
Coaches must be notified at the conclusion of competitions when parents are parting with cheerleader.
(We are responsible at all times for the safety and where about of your daughter in gymnasiums crowded at times with over 1500 people,
please do not leave the gym with your child unless the coach is notified)
Varsity Fundraising
All Varsity cheerleaders are required to participate in fundraising. We fundraise for uniform & equiptment improvements.
*Teambuilding is one of the most critical components of a cheer team. At its best, it allows our team to reach its goals. It is the "X factor" that drives
our team to our CHIEFS TRADITION ”Cheer Family Motto” work together, play together and win together! It is the difference between a smile and
tears and can’t & can do attitudes. It may be the most important skill that they will take with them as they move beyond their adolescent experiences
